Hi all,

planning to change the existing inspira side mirror to power foldable side mirror.
... Will it void warranty?
...Is inspira have a ready socket for power similar to lancer? Anyone can confirm, if there is ready socket for it?

thanks.

Depending on how they install for you, they may cut some wires especially tapping from +12V and ground... And they need a signal(best from your car's ACC) to close the mirror, so >50% warranty will void if you install this.....

thanks, but the picture attached is something like there is already a ready socket for plug n play..anyway....this is something same picture as what seen in the adds...maybe nobody can confirm yet unless open and remove the body of side mirror. I am thinking since this is a rebadge car from lancer then it might also have a ready socket for plug n play..

Provided if the Inspira also got such socket, else it is no point...
If the wirings too long, it will be harder to install, that's why they split it in such way...

Try checking with bro VOX, he's selling it but the price seems a bit high and of course very tempting to get one. Maybe he can give you some hint on the installation.

yes, that's actually from Vox website...

bro vox ...can you share if that item will surely fit to inspira w/o any modification of wiring or additional wiring?...I may consider it but if it needs rewiring then no mod to be done as I have to wait for warranty to be over before installation.

just to give an idea.... I went to the SC the other day to change my faulty HU/radio. The technician after changing the radio then connected the MUT III and informed me that he wanted to check everything just in case. he then showed me the wiring diagram for electricals in the inspira..... below the diagram.... it's stated MITSUBISHI Lancer...... there's a good chance that if the Lance GT has it, then inspira also has the same config.....

Oh how cool it is to have fordable side mirror, funny mitsubishi decided to remove this function, even Lancer/Wira also sudah ada ini fordable.
